It is wonderful to be a part of God’s work with orphans, and to further your efforts, we at Show Hope are thrilled to present www.HowToAdopt.org! When Steven Curtis and I began the process of adopting Shaohannah a number of years ago, we were overwhelmed and truly didn’t know “how to adopt.”

Needless to say, it was foreign to us, and with the anxieties and difficulties that abound in the process, it is not surprising that so many are discouraged in their adoption journey. The NAIC found that while one third of Americans have considered adoption, only 2% will ever adopt. Furthermore, as many as 48% of those who consider adoption turn to their “house of worship” for information and support, according to DTFA. Unfortunately, most churches are not equipped to help. As a result, the vast majority of potential adoptive families go no further.

Trying to navigate the adoption process can be as overwhelming as traveling across the United States without a map. In order to empower, enable and equip you, Show Hope has created “HowToAdopt.org” so that you will have the necessary information and resources, whether you are on the journey yourself or whether your church wants the tools to help those who are.

Thank you for taking a step of faith to experience the miracle of adoption. "I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you” (Matthew 17:20).
