The Pray for... Campaign began with the desire to highlight the reality that each orphan in the world has a name, a story, and a life that needs and deserves a family. 

 

As the Chapmans travel, they continually encounter children like these, and all of a sudden a face is put to a statistic, and that face burns in our hearts.  We want to help put faces to the need to open hearts and minds, and we want to call forth the church to pray for the children behind the statistics.

 

 

 

For the church to really have an impact on the plight of orphans around the world, we need first to hit our knees.  God's heart for these children is unsurpassed, and it is our desire to see the church mirror that heart. 

 

From prayer springs action, born of love.  Sometimes we can be overwhelmed by the immensity of the needs of the world's orphans, but we can start right here, not with the millions upon millions of orphans, but with one child. 

 

We know prayer works because we have seen it work, and we are inviting all those who are willing to join us in praying for these children and to let this spur us on to pray for each and every orphan who is waiting for a family.
