Trip Description
Destination: Maria's Big House of Hope - Luoyang, China
Estimated Costs: $3650 per person
Included expenses: All travel, lodging, and meal expenses from the gateway city to China and back to the gateway city.**
Description: We will spend the majority of our time at the Show Hope Special Care Center, Maria's Big House of Hope, a six-story medical care center for orphans with special needs located in Luoyang, China. This team will be doing small building projects as needed around the center (i.e., building picnic tables, bunking beds, etc). We will also spend time together as a team daily, growing in our understanding of our calling to care for the abandoned. In addition, we will visit various tourist sites in Beijing, go shopping and enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine. All applicants must be at least 15 years old at the time of the trip.
**The price is all-inclusive: all meals, lodging, in-country trasnportation, unsurance, interpreters, bottled water, sightseeing, etc. The total trip cost does not include passport fees (if applicable), immunizations, excess baggage charges, souvenirs, personal items, communication (internet/telephone), or snacks. Also, it is important to note that the cost of airfaire to/from the team member's hometown to the gateway city is the responsibility of the team member.
