The Vision
Show Hope believes it is important for the body of Christ to care for orphans around the world who have yet to be adopted or may not be eligible for adoption. As a result we continue to engage in orphan care projects in addition to the work we are doing to promote adoption. We use the acronym P.R.A.Y. as a helpful guide to ensure the best interest of the child comes first in our ministry.
P- Preservation of the birth family;
R- Reunification with birth parents or kin;
A- Adoption;
Y- Youth services for all orphans who have not been adopted.
When a child can no longer remain in or be reunited with his or her birth family or relatives, a permanent and loving adoptive family is arguably the best option. However, there are millions of forgotten orphans who cannot be adopted but whose care needs to be addressed by the church. Show Hope has come alongside others in the body of Christ who are involved in this area of Kingdom work, and we will continue to do so with the support of people like you.
