Trip Description
Destination: Maria's Big House of Hope - Luoyang, China
Estimated Costs: $3700 per person
Included expenses: All travel, lodging, and meal expenses from the gateway city to China and back to the gateway city.**
Sponsor trips are open to any Show Hope sponsor or immediate family member of a Show Hope sponsor. We highly encourage you to "serve in community" by inviting a friend or family memver to come along with you! In this was you will have someone with a shared experience to go back with you as you seek to change your world for orphans.
Description: We will spend the majority of our time at the Show Hope Special Care Center, Maria's Big House of Hope, a six-story medical care center for orphans with special needs located in Luoyang, China. Activities will include coming alongside the nannies to play and interact with the children, small work projects as needed at Maria's Big House of Hope. We will also spend time together as a team daily, growing in our understanding of our calling to care for the abandoned. In addition, we will visit various tourist sites in Beijing, go shopping, and enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine.
**The price is all-inclusive: all meals, lodging, in-country trasnportation, insurance, interpreters, bottled water, sightseeing, etc. The total trip cost does not include passport fees (if applicable), immunizations, excess baggage charges, souvenirs, personal items, communication (internet/telephone), or snacks. Also, it is important to note that the cost of airfaire to/from the team member's hometown to the gateway city is the responsibility of the team member.
